Footlights Youth Theatre is an amateur theatre company for young people from the age of 8 to 18, based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. We produce two shows each year, performing in local theatres, including The Point, Eastleigh and The Plaza Theatre, Romsey.

Pure class in poise, vocal range & dexterity with total stage presence

~ David Putley (Anything Goes, 2018)

I cannot praise this show enough. The writers of this piece would be as joyous as I was to hear and see this 50's pastiche celebration of B movies, wonderfully sung and acted by this talented group

~ David Putley, Curtain Up South (Little Shop of Horrors, 2017)

Directing with flair and a real attention to detail, the result was beautifully realized and excellently sung. Even the smallest role felt distinct. At the center were performances of maturity and style.

~ Karen Robsen, Daily Echo (Evita, 2017)

an elegant and excellent production, showcasing some amazingly mature young talent. All the leads are vocally exceptional and the vibrant score is fresh and exciting  I defy anyone not to be entertained by this thoroughly well thought out and performed production.

- David Putley, SceneOne (Evita, 2017)

Another excellent performance from this extremely talented group. The principles were outstanding and once again I cannot believe the amount of talent within this young company, there was good teamwork and 'togetherness' from the chorus and the sound was superb.

~ Jackie Kenyon, NODA (Evita, 2017)
Everyone on that stage had more than earned their right to be there, and the energy. focus and passion for the piece were palpable.
~ Audience Member (Evita, 2017)
